Ok, enough of that. lol But it is that time. Friday morning I surrender my cable modem and that's the end of me from this part of the country. We will still be here until Wed, packing up the last boxes and all of that. Sunday we go visit my Grandmother one last time, Monday the car goes in for a tune up and once over, Tuesday the truck arrives and we start packing, Wed the truck gets picked up and we load into the car and hit the dusty trails.

It's going to be hectic and crazy and exciting. So think good thoughts for us and I'll pop back in when I can. :D

Slight detour into crafting

It's almost time for my best friends birthday, sadly I'm going to be gone before it gets here. Today I was getting her gift together and realized I had gotten rid of all of my gift bags when I organized and cleaned my closet. So I decided to make her a gift bag.

It's not bad for a first try.

Super fast update

The frog got to his owner and her dd tried to swipe it. lol So I got my 2nd official order. I'm not going to be able to set aside time for it until after the move though.

Well if I get cracking on the packing I might have time right before we go. The cable and phone will be off on the 31st so I might have some down time then.

I packed my first full box today, YAY me. Luckily we aren't taking a whole lot or I'd be way behind schedule. The kids are at my dads and dh actually has tonight off so I'm slacking more than I would be normally. But I'm going to bust butt this week and I'll be fine. ;)

I have no idea if I'll get a chance to pop on before I go or if I'll have anything worthy of popping on about... yea like that stops me. I'll update whenever. :D

Now you'll have to excuse me, I have to go chase down my cat and try to force her into her new collar.

I love him! I think he is my best yet. I can't wait for his new "Mom" to get him.

The neverending froggies

I finally finished the twins today. I can't wait to shove them in a box and be rid of them. lol They are pretty cute though.

New creature

Just a quick update... I decided to branch out from my monsters recently. I wanted to make frogs for my dear friends twins who are about to have a birthday.

But I wasn't sure I would be able to actually do the design well so I thought I would practice first.



Isn't he cute!? He is on his way to Blues' house in Iowa. Have a great trip Fred.

Now I'm off to start sewing the twin frogs then I have a request for an octopuss - he could be interesting. ;)

Holy cow, it has been forever and I day since I posted. Before my birthday even I think. I hit a slump huh?

Well good news is I'm totally over all of that!. lol Big deal, I turned 30. It's not like I'm 80. And no I still haven't found a path or some deep meaning in my life but I'm ok with that.

Well I guess thats not so true... I do have a new path. We are MOVING!!!! I'm so excited I really can't stand it.

On a craft note, one of my wonderful friends bought me a book and I started making sock creatures. They are a ton of fun. :)
