Teagan's craft corner was my pic of the day.
I hope we can get her a bigger space when we buy a house. I'd love her her to have an easel and shelves and all kinda neat arty stuff.
She offered up a Volcano (spicy) Vegetarian Taco for the days pic so I'll share that here, too.
She told me last night that it makes her sad to think of the animals that die because we eat them and she asked why they had to taste soooo good. lol So she is "trying" (her words) to be a vegetarian but said she thinks it is going to be hard.

Yea, the one in April.
Huh, that's not that long from now is it? No sir re bob, it is not. Especially when you factor in school, a trip to Texas, husband home times, and a kid birthday all before the expo. So I should have a big pile ready to go right? Um.... yea, about that.
Sigh, not one toy complete. I just can't focus and I don't know why. UGH I'm shortly getting to the point of being royally hosed. Maybe I work best under pressure.

My sweet baby, Autumn, is still not 100%. This was the face straing at me right before I called the vet.
How pitiful is that!? Don't you just want to snuggle her. Well we ran bloodwork and all kinds of stuff and basically nothing is wrong with her. Big sigh. I'm glad it's not something major but man, what a bummer to not have a real answer, kwim? They gave her a shot of fluids and sent us home with Prednisone for her. She lost a .10 of a lb since last Friday.
Think good, get well thoughts for my sweetie.

The photo from yesterday and the one from today are in the same theme. I'll share the pic and then talk about it
Now one might see the obvious themes of my craft area, sewing supplies or even bright colors. But I think the elephant theme in the room is that I might have a touch of a ocd-ish quirk. lol My daughter placed the threads on the rack when I first got it and they are in a random order. I wasted NO time in taken all 60 colors off and ordering them "properly".
My buttons are a big issue for me. I simply adore buttons, even though I know that is such a strange thing to say. I search ebay for giant lots of buttons. I enjoy the sorting and ordering them into color families. Looking at them makes me happy.
As a matter of fact... I think I need to visit ebay real quick. ;)

I really envy bloggers that write these awesome entries, that get tons of readers and always seem to think of the most clever post titles for each entry. Oh well...
Today is so rainy and gross, it is dark, dark, dark outside and just blah all around. The bright spot in my day is that my husband came home last night. I enjoy my time alone but I do miss him so it is always nice to have a reunion. Right now he is snuggled with the girlchild and they are watching The Tick.
Had to run out to the library in between bands of rain so this is the shot you get for today.

I have wondered if I will lose followers by doing the blog365 project... let's face it most of these entries are going to be a snooze-fest. And I don't have a huge following to start with. lol
Well, I think my foot is not going to fall off... I'm way too round to balance without it so that is a bit of good news. I've been in a blah yesterday and today, not sure what that is about though the weather wasn't helping. The kids have been lectured for not pulling their weight around the apartment so we will see what happens over the next week.
Teagan broke my headset so we have not recorded a new podcast... Nic's comp crashed last week so I think we might have lost the last one we recorded also. Sigh. But next week we are unveiling our new incarnation... a live radio show. So you can listen (and call in) live and then the show will still be uploaded so you can listen at your convenience. I'm nervous and excited. We , and by WE I mean Nic, are heavily edited and that cuts out lots of suckage... so it's going to be a learning curve for sure. But we both have families and Nic will be happier (well, less stabby... not really happy of course) without hours of editing on her to-do list every week. So the night of the 11th will be our first live show, woot. Next stop... Queens of All Media I loved Nicole's comparison today... we are the white Frangela. Take that, bitches!
Here is my photo of the day...
And you get a bonus
because, well glitter on a potted plant, how the hell can you resist that?

Ok so I already posted my resolutions from last year and how they turned out. So here is what I'm putting out there for 2009...
1.) Complete Project 365 - take a photo every day of 2009 and Blog365
2.) The obligatory get healthier res. I'm going to get a treadmill, and use it! I'm not going to declare any certain pound loss but I resolve to get on my treadmill at least 3 times a week and end the year healthier than I started.
3.) Read 50 books
I'm going to stop at 3 this year. I have other things I plan to focus on but these resolutions are a good start.

Wow, a new year. A fresh start... a clean slate.
Do you mourn the passing of a yer or are you filled with excitement about the new year and the possibilities it holds? I'm the second type if you had any doubts. ;)
So today is day 1 of 2009 and also of Project 365... so today's photo subject is pretty common but it worked for me.
The official pic I sent to the group
and an extra shot...
I'm not actually sure what kinda flower this is but I love it. I love the firework feel of it, I love the little petals. I think it is lovely.
