I feel like such a cliche

but I am loving taking pics everyday. I wish I could take a class or something to really learn how to take great shots. I started a new set on flickr for all of my recent nature type shots.

Day 1

Wow, a new year. A fresh start... a clean slate.

Do you mourn the passing of a yer or are you filled with excitement about the new year and the possibilities it holds? I'm the second type if you had any doubts. ;)

So today is day 1 of 2009 and also of Project 365... so today's photo subject is pretty common but it worked for me.

I'm not actually sure what kinda flower this is but I love it. I love the firework feel of it, I love the little petals. I think it is lovely.
